Great Meatloaf Recipe


  • Cut into quarters 2 small onions
  • 2 slices of bread broken in pieces (a day-old)
  • 1/2 cup parsley leaves (loosely packed)
  • Cut into 1/2-inch cubes 1 ounce of parmesan cheese
  • Cut into 1-inch pieces* a 2 pounds boneless chuck
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Lightly beat 2 large eggs
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt


You have to preheat the oven. Set it to 375°F.


In your, Cuisinart Food Processor inserts metal chopping blade and add the onions and pulse about 8-10 times until it meatloaf recipeis finely chopped. Now place the rest of the ingredients (except the eggs) and pulse a few times more until the consistency that you desire is reached (but please do not over-process them). After that, you can add the eggs and incorporate them into the mixture.

Place the mix into a large loaf pan, put it in the preheated oven and bake for about 1-1/2 hours until browned. Use a meat thermometer to see the temp registered(you are looking for about 175°F) and also the juices have to be clear, not pink. When this is achieved the meatloaf is ready. Let it rest for about 10-15 minutes then serve.

You can have an optional glaze:

When the meatloaf has baked for about 45 minutes you can spread a mixture of 1/4 cup ketchup with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard. (you have to stir until smooth this mixture)

*You can also use a mixture of beef, veal, and pork.
